Microsoft Teams: New AI-powered capabilities for the Virtual Agent

What’s the deal? If you've ever wished your Virtual Agent was a bit more intuitive, you're in luck! Now, if the Virtual Agent For Microsoft Teams can’t find a knowledge article or if the suggested resources don’t answer a user’s questions, it can provide an AI-powered response based on public information — before creating a ticket.

This AI enhancement, available from version 7.82, will significantly improve how your end-users interact with your help desk. And the best part? This is just the beginning of our AI journey in InvGate. 

Workflows: New predesigned templates for key processes

We all love a good workflow, right? In version 7.83, we're delivering 10 brand-new help desk workflow templates that span Human Resources, Project Management, Internal IT, and Documentation. These templates automate and simplify key processes, ensuring every approval and quality check happens seamlessly. 

These new templates are designed to help organizations standardize and streamline complex processes, enhancing service delivery across teams. For our users in the public sector, InvGate Insight v2.19 introduces support for Azure GCC-High integration with Intune and Azure. This update is designed for US Government agencies looking for a more secure, compliant Asset Management solution.

With enhanced security standards, this feature ensures you can manage assets in a secure and compliant manner — especially important for users handling sensitive government data.

Automatic depreciation with rules

Tracking asset depreciation manually? Not anymore! With InvGate Insight v2.20, you can now automatically calculate depreciation based on customizable rules, providing you with up-to-date asset values in real-time. 

If you are wondering how it works, it’s really simple. First, you create rules by type and/or manufacturer, then you specify the depreciation method for the affected assets and the process will finally (and automatically) calculate the current value. Google deprecates basic authentication — Here’s how Insight is ready

In preparation for Google’s deprecation of Basic Authentication on September 30, 2024, InvGate Insight v2.22 now supports OAuth 2.0. This is a more secure authentication method and is crucial for users relying on Google’s outgoing email services.
