InvGate Service Management

Web services new features

We have launched several improvements for web services. With the new Global Credentials you can use and reuse newly created ones across all the product: workflows, automated actions, and approvals.

On the other hand, from now on, you will also be able to send nested JSON objects to create or modify data from your workflows. For instance, you can create a Google Calendar event using web services calls. And lastly, you are will also have the ability to modify users or assets on Insight from Service Desk via web service calls using the method PATCH.

Approvals

We’ve added a new permission for administrators that allows them to reassign approvals. Also, users now have the option to choose an Approval Manager for each approval to take over when necessary. This is particularly useful if the approver is absent or unavailable.

New communication channel

We have included a new in-app communication channel. In the What’s new section, administrators have easy access to all the new information about the product, updates, webinars, and more!

InvGate Asset Management

Discovery improvements

Now our Discovery feature provides you with even more detailed information on the devices connected to your network. In particular, you'll be able to see the device name, location, contact, and description directly from the asset profile discovered by InvGate Discovery. This functionality allows you to have easy access to relevant information, without the need to deploy and install agents.

New way to build a CMDB

We have added a new way to build a CMDB by directly importing a CSV file with a list of relationships between CIs. This will help to build and edit a Business Application diagram more easily, which is ideal for more complex structures or migrations.

If you have any questions about any of our new features, contact our support team or your dedicated partner. They’ll attend to all your needs and clear any possible questions.
