Freshservice Pricing in 2027: Plans, Add-ons And What It Really Costs

Freshservice pricing runs from $19 to $99 per agent per month across four IT plans, with a custom Enterprise tier and separate pricing for IT asset management, business teams, and managed service providers. For anyone drawing up a budget, the first job is working out which of those lines applies, because Freshworks now publishes four distinct pricing pages and the right one depends on what you’re actually buying.

This guide lays out each plan and what it includes, the costs that sit outside the per-agent rate, and how to estimate a realistic total over time.

All figures were taken from Freshworks’ official pages in November 2026 and are the rates published going into 2027; Freshworks can change them at any time.

How much does Freshservice cost in 2027?

Freshservice is priced per agent for its core IT service management product, billed either annually or monthly, across four plans. Annual billing is the cheaper of the two. The table below shows the published annual rate for each plan and the capabilities that define it.

Plan
Price (per agent/month, billed annually)
What it covers
Starter
$19
Incident management, knowledge management, task management, and a support portal
Growth
$49
Everything in Starter, plus service catalog, SLA management, on-call management, and cloud management
Pro
$99
Everything in Growth, plus problem, change, release, and major incident management, workload management, and built-in AI
Enterprise
Custom
Everything in Pro, plus sandbox, audit logs, and Freddy AI included across Agent, Copilot, and Insights

These are the annual rates; monthly billing comes in higher. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features, and Freshworks keeps the live figures on its IT service management plans. One thing to note before you settle on a tier: the ITIL-heavy processes most growing teams eventually need sit on Pro and above, which is where the per-agent rate jumps to $99.

Freshservice IT Asset Management pricing

Since March 2026, Freshservice has sold IT Asset Management as its own product to new customers, priced separately from the agent-based service management plans. Rather than charging per agent, asset management is licensed by Asset Units, bought in packs of 500 that start at $125 per month per pack.

An Asset Unit is a usage measure tied to what you track in the CMDB, and the weight varies by asset type: a desktop, mobile device, or SaaS user counts as one unit, while a server, virtual machine, or network device counts as four, with much lighter weights for archived or non-networked items. Because the bill scales with both the number and the type of assets, your inventory matters as much as the plan you pick.

The product comes in three tiers, laid out on the asset management pricing page. Growth covers discovery, hardware asset management, lifecycle, and the CMDB. Pro adds software asset management, SaaS discovery, and contracts and purchase orders. Enterprise adds service discovery, dependency mapping, and infrastructure monitoring.

Freshservice for business teams and MSPs

Freshservice for Business Teams is a separate line aimed at HR, finance, and other departments that handle employee requests rather than IT tickets. It’s sold as a single Pro plan at $49 per agent per month billed annually, with add-ons such as e-signatures and AI available on top. The details sit on its business teams pricing page.

Freshservice for MSPs is built for managed service providers running multiple client portals from one console. It’s a single Core plan, also $49 per agent per month billed annually, with day passes as the main add-on. Freshworks lists what’s included on the MSP pricing page.

What adds to the bill

The per-agent rate is rarely the full cost. A few things commonly push the total higher:

  • Freddy AI. AI is an add-on below the Enterprise tier. Freddy AI Copilot is $29 per agent per month on the plans that don’t already bundle it, which Freshworks lists on its plans page. Only Enterprise includes Freddy AI in the base price.
  • Asset packs. If you use asset management, Asset Units are billed on top of your agent licenses in packs of 500, so a growing estate raises the cost over time.
  • The plan you need for full process coverage. Problem, change, and release management appear only on Pro and above, so teams that need complete ITIL process coverage can’t stay on Starter or Growth.
  • Occasional users and implementation. Beyond the free day passes granted at signup, additional occasional agents are handled through Day Passes starting at $3 each, and onboarding or implementation work isn’t part of the sticker price.

How to estimate your Freshservice cost

A quick way to reach a realistic three-year figure:

  1. Count your agents, separating full-time agents from occasional ones who can run on day passes.
  2. Pick the plan that covers the processes you need — if change, problem, or release management is on the list, you’re on Pro or above.
  3. Add AI and other add-ons, including Freddy AI Copilot at $29 per agent per month if you’re not on Enterprise.
  4. Add asset management if you track an estate, estimating Asset Units from your device and user mix and rounding up to packs of 500.
  5. Multiply across three years and factor in renewal. Annual billing locks the lower rate, but published prices can move between terms, so budget for change.

Freshservice vs InvGate Service Management pricing

If the decision is about enterprise capability at a predictable price, InvGate Service Management is worth setting beside Freshservice. Its entry plans are published rather than quoted:

  • Starter is a fixed $1,499 per year for five agents.
  • Pro is $500 per agent per year starting at $2,500 per year.
  • Enterprise is custom, starting at $12,000 per year

(Rates from InvGate’s pricing page, November 2026).

The practical difference is where capabilities land. InvGate Service Management includes its AI Hub — more than twenty AI capabilities — on every plan, with no separate AI license, and the no-code workflow builder and the AI Service Agent come in from the Pro plan.

When you need to tie tickets back to the hardware and software behind them, it connects natively with InvGate Asset Management, a separate product with its own pricing.

For teams already weighing Freshservice against a platform like ServiceNow, the real trade-off is coverage against configuration overhead, and that’s the lens that tends to decide it.
